Puccini's La Bohème
Larisa, 6-23 October. Performances on 19 and 22 October 2017.
Our La Boheme Production will be in a city in the north of Greece called Larisa. It's accessible by bus from Athens or Thessaloniki. The Musical Director is Christos Ktistakis, who frequently conducts major classical and operatic works throughout Greece and abroad. Our Stage Director is Jenny Drivala, who was one of the most successful and accomplished Greek Sopranos since Maria Callas, singing at major opera houses around the world including La Scala.
We will focus on a production of La Boheme, sung in Italian, accompanied by orchestra, with 2 performances (in costume) in a 500-seat theatre.
Designed for talented singers to gain experience and receive guidance and preparation for working in a professional production. Singers offered a role are expected to come prepared with the full role memorised and ready to jump into action.

Optional: Small roles will get opportunity to record arias / scenes of bigger roles in costume on extra day of recording with orchestra. eg: tenor for Parpignol will have chance to record Che gelida manina with orchestra if desired.
