John Rownan

Originally from Ireland, John has 8 years experience of organising Tango Dance Festivals as well as other events before founding the Dublin Opera Studio in 2016. John is a spinto tenor that studied in Bucharest. He came to Greece in 2016 for the Opera Studio Skull of Yorick Productions where he sang Pinkerton in Puccini's "Madama Butterfly". Shortly after that, he sang the role of Flavio in Bellini's "Norma", a professional production of Hellenic Opera Co and later (2017-2018) the role of Spoletta in "Tosca"- both productions in Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
He co-ordinates the applications for Opera Da Camera Oscura.

Ioannis Nakos

Born in Romania but of Greek origins, Ioannis began his first musical studies at the Musical Lyceum of Constanta and continued his studies at the State University of Constanta in the Byzantine Music Department. In 2003 he began classical training with the famous singers Dan Iordachescu and Corneliu Stavrou in the city of Bucharest. He continued his musical studies in Greece, alongside the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the soprano Sirani Tsalician and bass Konstantinos Katsaras. He started his appearances in 1997 in various recitals in Romania (Constanţa, Bucharest, Brasov, etc.). In Greece he first appeared in 2005 Thessaloniki and gave many solo recitals, sang as a soloist as well as a choir member in various oratorios (Trouble of Brookner, etc.) and in the operas: Puccini's "La Boheme" and "Tosca", and Bizet's "Carmen" by Opera of Thessaloniki. Since 2013, he has been studying with the tenor Philip Modinos and has performed in several productions of Hellenic Opera Co, as a member of the Opera Studio Skull of Yorick Productions at first ( Silvio in Leoncavallo's "I Pagliacci", Ramfis in Verdi's "Aida", Michele in Puccini's "Il Tabarro", Marcello in Puccini's "La Boheme" and later as a soloist in professional productions of the same team (Oroveso in Bellini's "Norma", Sacrestanto and Sciarrone in Puccini's "Tosca", both in Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
Athanasios Margoutas
Stage Assistant/ Stage manager / Movement at Hellenic Opera Co & Opera da Camera Oscura
Athanasios (Sakis) was born in Thessaloniki. He is one of the oldest members of the Hellenic Opera Co (he is working with the team since 2014). He has assisted in almost all operas and is also responsible for stage managing and movement.
He is a graduate of the "Drama School of Modern Theater Vassilis Diamantopoulos". From an early age, he received acting lessons at the theater workshop of "Koumena" Theater "by the director Tryfonas Mazni, attended lessons with musician Dimitris Kehagias. and dance courses with choreographers: Aline Nari, Polly Vokikou, Tatiana Myrkou, Ioanna Mitsika, Katerina Kervanidou.
Seminars of acting-orthophony, performance masterclass with: Stathis Livathinos, Costas Filipopoulos, Savvas Kyriakidis, Elias Kountis, Vassilis Charalambopoulos, Taxiarchis Hano, Evdokimos Tsolakidis, Georgia Sagri, Giannis Mitrou. Collaborated: With the State Museum of Contemporary Art and the Turkish artist Nezaket Ekici as part of the 3rd Thessaloniki Symphony Biennale, performance title "On the way - Safety and luck". With the Thessaloniki Concert Hall (OMGH) in the productions: "Camps Saint-Saens" directed by Michael Znaniecki and choreographies Aline Nari (2011), '' Triumphs '' William Shakespeare directed by Panos Gouli (2013-14). With the Egnatia Theater in the performance "68 Moments" by Andreas Siafakas, directed by Asterios Peltekis. With the "Kaleidoscope" troupe in the play "The Maya of the Butterfly".
With the Theater of Athens, at the dance performance "Adem, from Earth" in the frame of the dance festival of the 20th, 2015, directed by Giannis Mitrou.
